It is just a 10 minute walk to the foot of the Sugarloaf mountain, and the beautiful Praia Vermelha (the Red Beach) - a small beach at the foot of Sugarloaf. It is only 5 minutes by taxi or bus to Copacabana and 12 minutes to Ipanema. There are small local bars & juice bars, a small supermarket and several restaurants within a 3 minute walk.
The main dining/sitting room area opens out directly onto the massive balcony, which, with its 270 degrees view - spanning from Christ Redeemer to Sugarloaf mountain - is arguably one of the best and most unique views in Rio from a private apartment.
