After three years of restoration and repair, the Hotel Santa Teresa, the old Guimarães Ranch, located at the heart of the historic Santa Teresa District and one of the few hotels under government trust for historic preservation of the City of Rio de Janeiro, reopens its doors.
With a TROPICAL DESIGN, using natural materials, offers its visitors a plunge into the culture and origins of Brazil. The cotton, the linen, the coconut fiber, the rush, the tropical woods, the lime stones, the Portuguese tiles and the burnt cement evoke the natural Brazil and the colonial spirit of the golden ages of coffee, cocoa bean and sugar cane. In all settings of the hotel, the art of the native tribes from the Amazonas and Pará states, the sacred art of Rio de Janeiro’s baroque, the refined handicraft from the state of Minas Gerais and the northeast region, celebrates all five regions of a diverse and intense Brazil.
The Hotel, planted between patios, gardens and terraces, has 44 personalized rooms, between 30 and 120 square meters. More than half of the rooms have balconies with panoramic views over the Guanabara Bay, the Teresópolis Mountains and the Christ Redeemer.

In a sophisticated environment, decorated with natural materials such as coconut fibers and reforestation woods, LE SPA, was specially created for the relaxation of its customers offering treatments to balance the body, soul and energy.
The organic architecture and design pieces from Studio Vitty offers to its visitors a mix o peace and harmony. LE SPA, in partnership with the eco-Amazonian brand NATURA, has developed an exclusive line of natural treatments and therapeutic massages. With four massage rooms, a steam sauna with two ambient and a large area of relaxation.

Santa Teresa is one of the most picturesque quarters of the colonial Rio de Janeiro, with various old mansions from the 19th and 20th century, museums of art and history, art and painting shops. A privileged view over the Guanabara Bay, has as its center the Guimarães Square, where most of the touristic points from Santa Teresa is located.
With a simple access to all the main touristic points of interest from Rio de Janeiro such as the Chrit Redeemer (5 km), the Sugar Loaf (9 km), the Copacabana and Ипанема Beach (20 min drive) and very close from the business center of town (3 km) shows how special is the location of this hotel.

- In order to book an bedroom we need a reservation deposit of 25% of the total rental amount. Payments may be made via bank wire directly into our bank account in Brazil or France (in local currency). You can also pay with your credit card through PayPal, however, there is a fee of 4% for payments in Euro and 6.5% for payments in USD due to PayPal fees on foreign exchange

- Upon arrival you will also be asked for a deposit against damage made during your stay. The deposit should be made in cash, and will be returned in full at the end of the stay, provided that there are no damages and the bedroom is left in good condition. The deposit goes from 2500€ according to the number of clients

- On the day of arrival one of our staff will meet you at the hotel to sign the rental agreement contract. At this time we will also collect the full remaining balance from you. This payment is to be made in cash in Euro, USD or BRL at the official exchange rate of the day.
- Please advise us in advance of the arrival time so that we can either arrange the airport transfer for you or to meet you directly at the hotel.
- Normal check out time is 11:00 AM. If no one rents the bedroom on the day you are leaving we do not charge for a late check out on that day. If you want to secure a late check out, you can do so by paying another ½ day's rent.
- When leaving, the guest is obliged to leave the bedroom in a reasonably clean condition, otherwise a cleaning service fee will be charged.

- Airport transfer service: Reliable, bilingual and discreet with reasonable rates, it costs 55 US$, for up to 3 people, 85 US$ for 5 people.
- Mobile phone: We can provide a mobile phone free of charge. Please let us know at least 2 days prior to your arrival.
- Bikes : We can rent bikes with a lock.
- Breakfast included.

Reservations will not be reimbursed under any circumstances. However, in some cases, you will be able to change the dates of your stay and the choice of accommodation, at your convenience, depending on availability.

Tenant shall be responsible for any fines that may be incurred due to violation of any laws, the convention or internal regulations of the hotel. Payment of the fine shall be made to Rio Exclusive, as soon as we are notified as to the motive and value of said fine.
Если у Вас возникнут неприятности с полицией, связанные с незаконным использованием наркотиков или с чем-либо другим, что является незаконным в Бразилии, мы не сможем помочь Вам. Хозяин квартиры и наше агентство не несет ответственности за подобные случаи.
Основания для выселения: Нарушение условий контракта, большее количество человек, проживающих в квартире, чем указано в контрактах; громкие вечеринки, проституция, беспорядок, наркотики, ущерб имущества. Ваш депозит и арендная плата будут изъяты, как указано в контракте.
